Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was as a captain and a participant for the Fierce Five team in 2012 and 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. In the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals in floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze medal in the balance beam. This made her the first American gymnast at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. Gold medals she took home at the Olympics in 2016 was the second consecutive gold medal for the United States team. This made her, along with fellow teammate Gabby the first Americans - to achieve this achievement. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around competition and floor exercise. After the second Olympics the gymnast stopped for three years gymnastics. Furthermore, she was a member of two gold-winning American gymnastics squads. Aly began gymnastics lessons at age 2 and loves the floor workout. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. Aly is planning to pursue a career as a designer. She hopes to pursue expanding her trademark line of leotards. Fierce is a novel she's writing, will be coming out in the year ahead.
